It was about 1940 when this cellar started to elaborate its very peculiar wine, but in 1975 Candido Besa started its selling.
The wine is elaborated. By “carbonic maceration”of the whole grape. After the alcoholic fermentation they press the grapes with the feet as in the traditional way. This makes it a adquire a very characteristic Wine, the typical young wine of the Rioja Alavesa.
